Our Story
Kept. was founded on a simple belief: moving and organizing your home shouldn't feel overwhelming. Too often, life transitions — a move, a downsize, a fresh start — come with stress that overshadows the excitement.
We created Kept. to change that. Based in Cumberland, Maine, we provide not only interior design services, but also full-service home organization and move transition support for clients who need hands-on help before, during, and after a move.

Lyndsay
Co-Founder
Lyndsay has always had a passion for interior design and a natural talent for organization. Through the experience of building several homes of her own over the past 20 years, managing projects professionally, and assisting friends and family with their homes, she developed a strong foundation in creating beautiful, functional spaces. Inspired by these hands-on experiences, Lyndsay pursued a career that combined her love of design, organization, and helping others. Today, she serves as an Associate Broker and Professional Home Stager with one of Maine's top real estate brokerages, where she continues to refine her expertise in both design and organization. Her ability to transform spaces into environments that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional consistently leaves a lasting impression on her clients. Lyndsay is passionate about helping homeowners create spaces they truly love and homes that reflect their personal style while enhancing their lifestyle, comfort, and overall well-being. Whether preparing a property for the market or reimagining a living space, she brings creativity, attention to detail, and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to every project. A proud Maine native, Lyndsay was born and raised in the state she still proudly calls home. She has a deep appreciation for Maine's natural beauty, unique charm, and close knit communities. Knowing she wanted to raise her own family where her roots began, she has built a life centered around family, home, and the outdoors. When she's not working with clients, Lyndsay enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, traveling, and making the most of everything Maine has to offer, from its scenic coastline to its countless outdoor adventures.

Lisa
Co-Founder
Lisa brings more than 20 years of experience in project management, client relations, operations, and product development to Kept. Throughout her career, she's been the person who keeps projects moving, details organized, and clients informed-whether managing large-scale initiatives, coordinating teams, or bringing new products to market. Before co-founding Kept., Lisa spent a decade in skincare product development, overseeing projects from initial concept through launch. She worked closely with manufacturers, designers, and marketing teams, helping develop products and packaging that were both functional and thoughtfully designed. That experience sharpened her eye for detail and reinforced her belief that the best results come from a balance of creativity and organization. An organizer at heart, Lisa enjoys helping people simplify their spaces and navigate transitions with less stress and more confidence. She understands that every home and every client is different, and she loves creating systems and solutions that make everyday life easier. Her goal is simple: to make the process feel manageable, enjoyable, and thoughtfully handled from start to finish.
